to summarize the issue. After shooting two to three clips in cinematic mode in 4K at 24fps, the third, fourth clip onwards the video starts to glitch as shown in this tweet. And apple support has no response.

Same issue here, 1 of 5 videos or so recorded at 4K - 24 frames gets corrupted, you need to refresh the camera app every time to make sure is gonna be recorded fine. Please apple help us I bought this phone just for recording videos with this settings and it turned out to be so far a big no no
Thinking it was an isolated issue we approached apple support and also visited the authorised service center. However they had no resolution. We decided to check other phones on display across 3 stores and found out that all phones had the same issue while shooting in 4k cinematic mode at 24fps.
In Camera settings I set the settings for all clips in cinematic mode to be recorded by default in 4K at 24fps. I now recorded like ten clips and I observed no glitches.
Update - I retested it and unfortunately the issue with glitching videos still persists.
I am facing the same problem. I am very curious to know if this is hardware or software issue...
I rechecked this setting again as I wanted to return the phone to the shop. It seems that Apple had run some autoupdate which solved the problem.
