Cant download photos from Iphone 13 to Mac Mini (Big Sur)
Ive been downloading photos from the phone to Iphotos on my Mini with Big Sur using a cable for years, suddenly they won't download. What did I change? What did Apple change?

You're still using Big Sur? You don't say what phone you use, or what iOS. It may be that, if the iOS is newer, it uses a newer file format, HEIC, that Big Sur doesn't recognize. You may need to go to iPhone Settings>Photos>Transfer and set it to Automatic rather than Keep Originals. In iPhone's Settings>Camera you may need to Format is Most Compatible rather than High Efficiency (the HE in HEIC).
Is this what's going on, or is it something different?
