I can't think of any other useful information to give. I don't want a link to guidance on family sharing though please! The problem is I can't access it in settings.

If an app or feature on your device is not working, not appearing, or is restricted (grayed out), it may have been disabled using Screen Time, or by an IT administrator if you are using a device owned by an employer or educational institution.

Tap Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > scroll to Allow Changes and turn on.
- If the device is managed (Settings > General > VPN & Device Management), contact the IT department that is doing the managing.

Thank you. I really thought that must be the answer but all my screen time settings are set to ‘allow’ already soo it hasn’t resolved the problem. Also it is a personal phone with no admin restrictions in place.🤷♂️ any other suggestions?
I want to use family sharing on my iPhone X. In the settings menu though, it says family sharing not available so I can't turn it on. How do I solve this?
