Unless you have jailbroken your phone or you are a high-profile journalist, activist, or politician whose data would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to acquire, you have not been hacked.

As noted above, if you explain what problems you're having with your phone, people here can probably help you work through them.

No, it's not legal for someone to do this. Its also very unlikely that your iPhone has been hacked, what sort of problems are you noticing that are leading you to believe this?

There are a number of reasons phones can become hot, including using graphics and processor-intensive apps, charging the phone, a defective battery.

It would be helpful if you could post a screenshot of this "second phone icon" but, it's likely that this is also something normal, such as Focus/Do Not Disturb.

That doesn't describe anything the phone is doing. That's your subjective reaction. And, as emulation has nothing to do with hacking, I don't know what you mean by that.

If someone had spent the hundreds of thousands of dollars necessary to hack your phone, there would be no indication.
