iPhone camera is extremely blurry when scanning QR codes or using third-party apps

The camera is extremely blurry when scanning QR codes or using apps like Adobe Scan (or any 3rd party apps) to take pictures of ID cards. This is happening on the iPhone 15 pro max model which is up to date at iOS version 17.2.1.
