Apple pencil broken

i have a an apple pencil , less than a year , it is not working anymore. How to get a replacement since it is not even a year old.

apple pencil replacement Hello! I purchased an apple pencil along with an ipad air 5th gen using a student promo that apple had. I took great care of the apple pencil, but one day it suddenly stopped working, and i have no idea why. It would appear as « connected » but i cannot use it at all. I asked my friend, who gave it a look and told me that i should replace it. It has been less than a year since my purchase, can i get a replacement for free?

read about warrenty here Legal - Hardware Warranties - Apple

of cause warranty only covers production defects discovered after purchase so if they

judge it broke because of user handling you will just have to purchase a new one
