connect not working

You have provided no useful specifics for us to evaluate and respond to. There are a number of questions which may first be addressed, such as:

• Is it connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
• Have you confirmed that System Settings shows that you are correctly connected?
• Did anything occur prior to this problem which may have caused the change?
• If connected via Ethernet, have you confirmed that the cable and connection is sound? You might try connecting with a different cable.
• If the problem is in the modem, sometimes restarting it to reset it solves the problem.
• I am assuming that you cannot use your browser to access the internet. Are emails no longer working as well?
