Do Not Disturb still allows Calls

To clarify the repeat calls setting isn't the issue -- I already won't allow repeated calls to get thru. This was a single call from a family member although that shouldn't make a difference because I have not applied any kind of classification with callers.

Have I? Where, because I haven't set anything up in Focus? Besides, what is the point of having a piece of s/ware that says "I am not going to disturb you" if it then disturbs you? the default should at least do what is says "on the tin."

True to form and proof of Apple's failure in being able to code anything that is intuitive anymore, see points below,

They shroud rename it "Do Disturb" surely?

Thanks, but it's not relevant - when you have a temperature of 102C and you don't want to be disturbed, why would Apple add s/ware that says Do Not Disturb when it doesn't no such thing? The call woke me up by ringing (not vibrating).

Only in the abysmal Apple IOS 16 would the words "Do Not Disturb" when typed into the Setting search bar return no results... 🤦‍♂️

After being with Apple for 24 yrs, it's sad to say that something has gone wrong in their s/ware design over the last 5+ yrs. The art of simple, intuitive s/ware has very much long gone.

Like most of IOS it's typical Apple faulty coding.

Just like my calendar where I was literally just looking at the repeat event function and having now set up 10 hrly events which I now want to repeat for the next 5 days there is no repeat in edit.

IOS IS ABYSMAL.

Still waiting to hear why Do not Disturb doesn't work with IOS.
