How can I tell if my MAC will update to Big Sur 12.0?

My MacBook Air is running Big Sur 11.7.10. Can I upgrade to Big Sur 12.0?

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and if your MacBook Air is a 2015 or newer model, then on the download link for Monterey. Otherwise, no.

If you aren't sure, choose About This Mac from the Apple menu.
