iPhone 15 Pro
Devices that provide display resolution 3840 X 2160 (4K) 2960 X 1440 (Quad HD+) 2560 X 1440 (Quad HD) are 4K. That means you can watch high-quality videos on these devices with fast processing speed.
None of these displays are 4K
My information says that 4K resolutions are a waste on mobile devices as you (a normal human eye) may not be able to notice the difference on such small screens.

Recording 4K is different than 4K display:
ProRes is available for recording up to 4K at 30 fps. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max can record 4K at 60 fps when connected to a compatible external ...

Thanks for your reply. I understand that the display of iphones is not 4K. Perhaps I should have clarified, I will export these screen recordings to futher edit on a larger display.
I have heard that the iphone 15 pro can output to a 4k display, but I'm not sure what resolution it will display on it. Will it just stretch the ppi it has on it's own screen to fit onto the display? or increase resolution up to 4k?
and then if I initiate screen recording, will it record the 4k display in 4k?
Hope this was clearer
