My MacBook Pro died. Now what?

I have a MacBook Pro mid-2018 with an i7 processor that stopped working last week. It doesn't turn on, and even the lab said it's hopeless. The machine worked fine till last week and then it suddenly died.

My question is whether anything can be salvaged from its memory, considering that it can't be turned on.

Can the memory be extracted and connected to a different device? I have some files on there that have some value... (fortunately, I saved all my photos on an external drive)

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.1

Hi,

Sorry to say that the SSD of 2018 models are soldered on logic board, there is no way to access to it, except data salvage companies could save your data, though it's cost high.

I've been taking TimeMachine backup data every hours on Time Capsule.
