How can I play music from my Apple Music desktop app on my iPhone?

I am a musician and trying to work on some songs that have been sent to me by another musician. These songs are as of yet unpublished. I simply need to be able to play these songs from my cellphone. My preference is to use the Music app but I see no way to extend my desktop playlist to my iPhone.

Recently, I downloaded the Apple Music app on Windows and downloaded some songs to listen to both online and offline... Adding songs/playlists from Apple Music from PC to iPad (I have no Apple Music subscription) My iTunes music is now in Apple Music on my pc. I know that I can add music to iPhone with the Apple Devices app. I have not subscribed to Apple Music. My question is: Can I add songs/playlisits from Apple Music on my pc to Apple Music on my iPad? Would the Apple Devices app be what I would use? I'd love details if so. I only used the Apple Devices one time! Thanks so much.

Use the sync method: Sync your device using your computer - Apple Support

or, with the iPhone connected to your computer, drop the files directly onto your iPhone in the sidebar within the Music/iTunes app on your computer.
