Where to find kids request for app that is sent to parent?

I am trying to download an app on my kids device that is on a family sharing account.

I press the "Get" button to the app

It asks for a password and I enter it

Then a bubble pops up that states, "Ask Permission" comes up. It states: A request to get "name of app" will be sent to your parent or guardian.

You can choose "Cancel" or "Ask"

I press on "Ask"

Now I can't find where I need to go to grant permission. I have checked my email, my apple ID account, my phone texts....

Where do I go from here?

A notification should appear on the Family Organizer's device or on the secondary Approver's device (if one is set) asking for permission to download the App.

Are you the Family Organizer or secondary Approver in the family sharing group?

If you miss an Ask to Buy notification, you can find the request in Messages on

your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac. If you don't see the request in

Messages, you can find your Ask to Buy request in Notification Center.

Hi,

Make sure Purchase Sharing is turned on and all devices are updated to the latest software. Use If Ask to Buy isn't working and if it still isn't working after checking the steps in the article, contact Apple Support.

I am the family organizer. I go to my phone, into settings, but I do not see any notifications.
