Apple Music Songs Disappeared after Turning Off/On Sync
To fix a different issue, I had to turn on then off the "Sync Library" option on the music app on my Macbook, then turn it back on. However, that's created a new issue: songs that were in my apple music library (i.e. not personal files, but those I'd downloaded from apple music) no longer appear in my library. They still show as downloaded within the apple music view, see below:
But when I go to the "Your Library" view, they're in there, but there's no songs listed, and the songs don't show up in any of the smart playlists they should show up in, with no option to play them (hitting "play" does nothing):
What's interesting is this weird bug has only happened to songs which I had added to my library but hadn't manually added into any playlists (smart playlists don't count). For instance:
The above is a song which I had manually added to a playlist before the off/on sync toggle, and you can see that one downloaded fine.
I also noticed that when I switched the sync back on, all the songs that should be in my library WERE there while it was "loading library," but once that process finished, suddenly all the songs disappeared.
Is there a way to fix this? I still see the songs on my other devices (ipod touch, google pixel, etc.) so they're obviously still in my library. Re-toggling the sync and hitting "sync library" does nothing.
