Is this for a subscription with billing through Apple (not with Disney+ directly)?

Normally, if you cancel a subscription for which you paid in advance, then that subscription will expire at the end of the current billing period.

If you think that you have good reason for an exception, then you can request a refund. Apple staff will then decide on this refund (approve or turn down).

Maybe. If its being charged by Apple, you will need to cancel it first, the contact Apple Support directly to terminate it, and see if they can offer a refund of the remaining subscription time.
