No, it is not spam. Mine was for The Ohio State University football and men’s basketball calendars that were set in 2023. I verified by going to Calendar app, clicking on “Calendars” at bottom, and scrolling down to various calendars that I have. I clicked on information about each of the aforementioned calendars and checked the subscription details. It showed “www.stanza.co” and I unsubscribed both. It worked.
Same thing appeared today Jan 22 on my iPhone. With information from this group, I was able to delete my 3 sports team calendars from iCloud calendar accounts subscriptions easily on my laptop.
It is a calendar subscription problem with the provider (Stanza). If you check Stanza's Twitter feed they changed domains after an unexpected outage. I'm guessing they somehow lost their domain but who knows.
I checked and my feed points to stanzacal.com. Apparently it was updated but it still isn't working.
I'll give it another week or so and see if it clears up.
"Update! Stanza.co is now redirecting to StanzaCal.com (new product!) - try clearing your cache if that’s not working or head to the site directly.
More updates to come next week"
Stanzacal.com is still a work in progress. If you want to keep your current calendars, here's my workaround: Went to Calendar. Settings. Accounts. Select webdav calendar (I have three). Select edit. Change Refresh to "every year."
Shortly after doing my workaround, I ended up getting the pop-up again. As a test, I completely closed the calendar app, then reopened. Since then, no popups. Hopefully, Stanza will be up and running soon; but until then, I still have my current calendars available.
For me it was my Steelers calendar. I deleted it and so far everything is looking good.
I deleted my NFL app and looks like it’s fixed!
Read below and going to the app and deleting the warriors and reno aces subscriptions worked. Hope there is some other app that will work
Turned out it was also on my NY Rangers calendar!
Stanza posted that they moved the site to StanzaCal.com. I was able to resubscribe to my sports team calendar from their new site. HTH.
Went to calendar settings. Accounts. Selected webdav calendar (I have three). Select edit. changed refresh to every year. If Calendar doesn’t update, I’m hoping it will prevent refreshing and bringing up the pop-up. I figure I can change it back to every day let it refresh and then turn it back to yearly as a workaround for now. I’ll see what happens.
Update. Shortly after doing my workaround, I ended up getting the pop-up again. As a test, I completely closed the calendar app. Since then, no pop-ups. Hope it’ll save me from deleting my precious calendars :-)
Do you happen to have a subscription calendar, maybe for a sports team? I'm seeing the same notice, but I think it's my Suns schedule calendar.

Same for me! Is it spam or hack?
It is Spam. You most likely accepted an invitation to add a calendar/event that you should not have done. Use the link to remove this Spam calendar/event.
How to delete stanza from my apple calendar
For me it was Starbucks calendar, I removed it and am waiting to see if that got rid of it
I think I found it as well. Mine was a NYG calendar that linked to it. My other sports team link seems to be ok. Hoping.
It might not have been a recent download, my sports events were downloaded in 2022 to add the events of the sports team for future games in my calendar. It wasn’t something I did recently on my end.
