No, it is not spam. Mine was for The Ohio State University football and men’s basketball calendars that were set in 2023. I verified by going to Calendar app, clicking on “Calendars” at bottom, and scrolling down to various calendars that I have. I clicked on information about each of the aforementioned calendars and checked the subscription details. It showed “www.stanza.co” and I unsubscribed both. It worked.

It is a calendar subscription problem with the provider (Stanza). If you check Stanza's Twitter feed they changed domains after an unexpected outage. I'm guessing they somehow lost their domain but who knows.

I checked and my feed points to stanzacal.com. Apparently it was updated but it still isn't working.

I'll give it another week or so and see if it clears up.

"Update! Stanza.co is now redirecting to StanzaCal.com (new product!) - try clearing your cache if that’s not working or head to the site directly.

More updates to come next week"

Stanzacal.com is still a work in progress. If you want to keep your current calendars, here's my workaround: Went to Calendar. Settings. Accounts. Select webdav calendar (I have three). Select edit. Change Refresh to "every year."

Shortly after doing my workaround, I ended up getting the pop-up again. As a test, I completely closed the calendar app, then reopened. Since then, no popups. Hopefully, Stanza will be up and running soon; but until then, I still have my current calendars available.

Went to calendar settings. Accounts. Selected webdav calendar (I have three). Select edit. changed refresh to every year. If Calendar doesn’t update, I’m hoping it will prevent refreshing and bringing up the pop-up. I figure I can change it back to every day let it refresh and then turn it back to yearly as a workaround for now. I’ll see what happens.

Update. Shortly after doing my workaround, I ended up getting the pop-up again. As a test, I completely closed the calendar app. Since then, no pop-ups. Hope it’ll save me from deleting my precious calendars :-)
