I'm getting this message on my iPhone XS Max iOS 17.x. I updated iOS from 17.2 to 17.3 and still get the message. I had 14 open tabs in Safari, closed them and also deleted browsing history, shutdown/restarted, but still get the message.
There’s another thread about the same thing. Settings-Calendars- subscribed calendars and removing subscribed sports calendars didn’t work for me. I had to go into the calendars app itself. In iCloud I had some NFL calendars. I removed those calendars and the stanza.co cannot verify server identity popup got resolved.

My issue was related to an MLS team calendar. Unsubscribing solved it. Thanks all!
You probably got induced into installing that Rugby calendar. To get rid of it:

The site is misconfigured; it’s OK to trust the certificate, as you will not be sending any personal data to it.
Deleting the NHL and NFL calendars eliminated the problem. After a week, I re-added the NHL team calendar (around 2/1/24) and have not seen the issue. I also added an NBA team calendar (around 2/1/24) and have not seen the issue. Finally, I noticed today that my MLB team calendar (which I forgot about and had NOT deleted when this issue started) was updated and events for Spring Training started showing up in my calendar, but I have not seen the issue so far. Check for other sports team subscriptions, as there are reports of this affecting multiple sports.
Thanks! I just unsubscribed from an MLS calendar I had. Hope that eliminates the issue for me.
I deleted an NHL and NFL calendar schedule, last night. I swear I got the same message afterwards while just looking at emails. I rebooted, and today so far have not seen the message.
Ok so like others I’ve had a sports calendar on my iPhone for years. You would think that Stanford University would have competent administrators of their sports calendars. I’ve deleted both and will wait and see if that solves it.
Well, no, it is not odd that the website has an incompetent administrator; this sort of thing happens all the time. I wish it were odd, and that all sites were managed by competent employees, but I guess that’s asking too much.
I have only three team calendars and they have literally been on the phone since I got the phone in 2018(?) - I'm in the US so no Rugby lol. Seems like an ad tracking function gone bad.

Same here -- a college football calendar that I've had for a couple seasons now, but this pop-up just started happening in the last month or so. Odd.....
