monterey 12.7.3 stuck cursor

I updated from 12.7.2 to 12.7.3 Monterey, and the cursor is not blinking on login screen. I can remote ssh to it from another Mac - seems normal - but still no cursor on the Macbook Pro 13"

Start with this...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Do you have a wired USB Mouse & KB to try?

Thanks. My wife finally talked me into letting the independent Mac Pro shop in Richmond VA see if they could fix it, and they did. And now it works on 12.7.3 which was the goal! But I don't know how they did it. I tried several ways from the hints on the web including this site. I could do a ssh into it from my mac, but have gotten rusty with command line methods. Too old (turned 83 last week) LOL :). Thanks for your response!
