Apple Number iCloud web collaborate can't handle Printing process

Apple provide collaborative for number file, we can open for other people to join our works.

but when someone collaborates from the web version of number icloud, they can only input data. when printing, there is "NO PRINT SELECTED SHEET OPTION".

there is preparing for print which means the web version of number converts the ENTIRE SHEET into the part that will be printed.

When the number file is more than 9MB and contains more than 40 sheets, then one print can take 3 MINUTES TO RENDER ALL SHEETS.

Is this a form of coercion so that everyone must buys a macbook (because on the ipad there is also only a4 and letter standard paper available)?

Is this what apple call productive collaboration or i missing something?

Please help me if you have some trick to solve printing collaborator non mac

I'm not positive that I understand your problem, but here goes.

iPad Numbers only prints only one sheet at a time, and if that sheet will require more than one page, you can select which pages to print. It defaults to all pages in the sheet.

If you only want to print a small part of your document, you can pretty easily Select a portion of the data, copy it and Paste the selection to a New Sheet which you have created especially for the print task. With the new sheet selected, go to the print function.

That would eliminate any wasted rendering.

Am I missing something?

I don't use collaboration much but it strikes me that Numbers is not the right tool to handle that many sheets and other things (images?) you have in that file that make it so big.

It's a little like trying to use a nice car to do a job when you need a big truck.

This will take forever in web just to print a piece of page because it render entire sheets

Thanks SGIII for your answer.

At my workplace everyone is provided with 1 ipad, but when it comes to data collaboration they always use a windows laptop instead of the ipad which is actually more compact.

I use all kinds of microsoft, google, and finally apple numbers. This is where the ipad can easily be used as data processing because the application has the most similarity with the mac version of numbers compared to other products.

I just want to try to force them (my coworkers) to see how easy all the data is done through their ipad without having to switch to a pc or laptop. So the raw data for 1 year is processed in numbers before ending up in printing and managing the data to the website. That's why the data is so big even though it's just a few pictures that I put in there.

I just have confidence that numbers can handle this raw data well. Just trying to find the most effective printing trick, without having to go through my own macbook.

thanks for your answer matte @Jerrold..

but i already get some trick to print with non provided paper size by making my own artboard template to set area printing (like page break in excel) and it works well on ipad too.

The still problem is on icloud will never allow printing selected sheet before finish preparing entire sheet , hope someday icloud numbers will provide this, man
