What programmer and UX team thought it was a great idea to provide no way to disable the opening beep on Apple Arcade? It’s annoying AF and I shouldn’t have to turn down the volume on my phone just to launch Arcade in silence. Do better!

Stopping the annoying beep every time an Apple Arcade (AA) game starts is possible, but not by using any settings. It’s more of a work around only.
When you start an AA game and the splash screen opens, immediately tap the screen. This causes the rest of the splash screen sequence to be bypassed, and if the screen is tapped soon enough, it prevents the beep from playing out.
When I launch an AA game, I immediately start tapping the screen repeatedly to be sure I catch the bypass. Usually I don’t even get to see the splash screen.
