Find My Phone only works on Wifi

Following a recent iOS update on my iPhone 12, my friend can now only see my phone on his Find My feature when I am on Wifi but not when I’m away from my Wifi.

Why does find my only work with Wi-Fi but not cellular Why can I not see my daughter’s iPhone when she is using cellular but I can see it on Wi-Fi?

Go to Settings/Cellular and make sure the switch is on for Find My. If it is on, turn it off, then on again.
