SIm card tray Stuck

Hey there!!
I have an iPhone 3GS and the sim card tray is stuck in the phone and i cant get it out. Is there a way the apple store can fix it ?? And how much wlll it cost me ?

iPhone 3GS, iOS 4

An Apple store may be able to get the SIM card tray out and there should be no charge for doing so if they are able. Best to make an appointment at the genius bar.

I put my microsim in the adaptor and then, in what I can only describe as a moment of complete and utter idiocy, put it in the iphone 3gs without the tray. It is of course now stuck. The adaptor will almost come out but the SIM is slightly dislodged from the adaptor.

Does anyone have any suggestions? The nearest apple store is fairly far away, is that the only way to sort it?
