Sharing calendar

Hello, I’m having trouble adding my partner to a calendar. It gives me the option but once I click on add every name is blocked.

Shared calendar does not show on iphone I've tried various suggestions to no avail. When I share a calendar to my wifes email address she does not even get the invitation whereas her ipad does and she can see the shared calendar on the ipad.
