Does Stolen Device Protection work on iPads?
Everything I read refers to the iPhone in the IOS 17.3 update.
iPad mini 6, iPadOS 17

According to the About iPadOS 17 Updates page on the Apple Support website Stolen Device Protection is not listed among the features. It is not available for any Apple device other than the iPhone. You can suggest this to Apple at Product Feedback page on the Apple website.

Stolen Device Protection is a feature of iPhones only.
Not available for iPads.
I'm sorry. I missed that you were using an iPad. What comes of bouncing around between lots of different forums....
No, Stolen Device Protection is currently only for iPhones.
That's a screenshot of the search screen. What happens when you tap on that search result? Or, go directly to Settings>FaceID/Touch ID and Passcode?
Also, check to make sure that you don't have any restrictions enabled in Settings>ScreenTime, particularly in Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Thanks for the response! Tapping the link takes me to the 'Face ID & Passcode" setting, but the Stolen Device Protection doesn't show. I am guessing that Apple's testing didn't include someone searching for the setting from the Settings Search bar, or maybe this is a feature to be released on iPad in a future update? Who knows, just found it interesting that you could find it in Search but not actually have it available.
I did also check for restrictions and don't have any set.
When I search for “Stolen Device Protection” in Settings on my iPad after the 17.3 upgrade, it shows that it should be under ‘Passcode’ but there is nothing actually there.
Thank You for the Replies!
No worries. I appreciate the reply all the same!
