M3 MAX Battery Health Management on a CalDigit TS4 Docking station paired to an Apple Display

I am currently using an M3 MAX Laptop, which is just one month old, connected to an Apple Studio display via a CalDigit TS4 dock. However, I have some concerns regarding the battery health management of my laptop. Since the machine is constantly plugged in and charged to 100%, I would like to understand how this might impact the longevity of the battery and any tips with regards to using the laptop when paired to the docking station.

The Battery Optimization software BHM learns as it goes— your Mac is brand new.

You do not have to micro-manage the battery charging, let the software work for you. Full Stop.

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you help optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.
