Zero sound in GarageBand when using AirPods

While my AirPods are connected GarageBand plays absolutely no sound, I can’t even hear the metronome. I’m on iPhone 14 and I’ve never had this problem until recently and I have no clue why. Every other app on my phones audio works completely fine it’s just GarageBand that has these problems. I tried restarting everything, uninstalling and reinstalling GarageBand nothing has worked yet. Without AirPods it works fine I think it’s just a little scratchy when I put my ear up to the speaker and I have to control the audio using the knob in the app but it works fine but with AirPods no sound.
