I used Plugable Transfer cable to transfer old pc files to new pc. Music files transferred but are not on iTunes.

All the files are under "MUSIC".

The MEDIA FOLDER LOCATION name on my new computer differs from the old iTunes name. How can I fix this so the files go on iTunes?

I backed up the itunes folder (including itunes media and itunes music) onto a hard drive. I then downloaded that onto the new laptop. Itunes works but my library does not show the majority of my music (I am old so most of it was downloaded from CD into itunes on PC). When I look in the itunes music folder under itunes, it does appear to all be there but for some reason the library cant see it so I cant access it. Transfer of iTunes from one pc to another I'm having real problems transferring iTunes from 1 pc to another. I've followed the instructions closely but although I've managed to transfer my directory although when I try to play any song, they are not there. Can anyone help??
