my iPhone can no longer join my own home wifi network even though the password is correct

Until this week my phone (iPhone 14 pro) would automatically join my 2.4 Ghz home network. Suddenly it won't join and says my password is incorrect. i log in again using the known-correct password and it says my password is incorrect. Meanwhile all of my home devices are happily logged in. After another try i get "Unable to join [networkname]." I would rather not rename the network and reset 50+ devices.

Wondering which iOS version is installed on your iPhone ... eg: security may be improved in newer versions.

✽ you might want to check for updates in Settings > General > Software updates.

✽ Sometimes re-starting your iPhone may help to delete temporary files, and re-establish the connection.

(If needed: How to: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support)

✽ Your internet provider may be able to help, or check for firmware updates for your modem / router.

Apple support have an article online (link below) with steps that may help troubleshoot:

All the best :-)
