Messaging Android Phones from an iPad
Why can’t I send texts/iMessages from my iPad to an android phones?
iPad, iOS 10
You can if you’ve enabled text message forwarding on your iPhone:
On your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding
turn it on and enable your iPad
Also ensure that Messages in iCloud is enabled on both your iPhone and iPad:
Settings > Apple ID > Messages
