Iphone 15 Pro purchased from John Lewis a day ago not eligible for Apple Care+

My Iphone 15 Pro purchased from John Lewis a day ago is not eligible for Apple Care+. Please provide an explanation and an alternative. Thank you.

You may want to try an alternative method of purchasing AppleCare+. See the following from AppleCare Products - iPhone - Apple (UK)


How to buy

  1. Purchase either AppleCare+ policy with your new iPhone.
  2. Or buy it within 60 days of your iPhone purchase:
    • On your iPhone (go to Settings > General > About and choose Add AppleCare+ Coverage)
    • Online (requires you to verify your serial number and run a remote diagnostic)
    • At an Apple Store (inspection of iPhone and proof of purchase are required)
    • By calling 0800 107 6285 (requires you to run a remote diagnostic and provide proof of purchase)
