Have Late 2008 Macbook and need to know how to get it running the lastest version it can support (2GB of ram).

I own a 2008 macbook and would like to know how to get the lastest version it can run (Its the 2gb ram model btw) and what the lastest version is

there are two distinct MacBooks from late 2008. the aluminum model and the white or black plastic units. the plastic MacBooks can run up to and including OS X 10.7.5. the aluminum models can run up to and including OS X 10.11.6.


we need to know which one you have, and the current OS X version it is using before we can let you know if it can be upgraded.
