Why is my iphone storage still full after buying 200GB storage on iCloud+ and even though i’ve only got 3 apps

There is a difference between the storage space on your iPhone and the storage space being used in iCloud,
especially if you are using iCloud Photos.
iCloud Photos will store your photos in iCloud and on your device at the same time. Removing data from your iPhone and the Photos app will also remove the data from iCloud.
iCloud can not be used to backup your data and remove it from your iPhone to gain some free space. It will sync the data on all of your devices to make sure that the data is exactly the same on all those connected devices.
