Is there a reason that we can't export Voice Notes to the desktop or email?

I'm using Voice Notes to record some audio that I want to send on to someone and there doesn't seem to be a sensible way of getting the audio out of the app. I had to go into Services and Open it in iTunes for it to be available to me.

This seems wildly silly.

Click on the recording entry in Voice Memos and drag and drop right into the body of a Mail compose window. It will attach as a .m4a audio file. You can also drag and drop into the Messages application where it attaches and waits for additional input from you.

Tested: macOS 14.3
