If I have an attachment in an iMessage or email, and I delete it, will it still exist in the iCloud Backup after it has backed up again? Or do I need to delete the existing backup(s) and create a fresh backup?
A backup backs up the changes that you have made on your phone since the last backup. If you delete photos, etc. the next backup will back up that deletion change, so the photos will be deleted from your backups.
I believe photos would be handled by Photos and not necessarily stored in the iCloud Backup. What about a PDF file attached to a iMessage?
Does deleting a file/photo from my iPhone remove it from the iCloud Backup the next time it backs up?
