How do you disable Hard Fall SOS notifications after the event is over?

My mother fell this morning and her Apple Watch detected the fall and sent out warnings to her emergency contacts. 🎉 Everything worked as it should and my mother is OK. However, we are still getting Hard Fall SOS updates on her location long after her fall has been taken care of. How do we tell the watch that everything is OK and to stop sending us location updates?

I tried to turn off the location updates by disabling and re-enabling SOS function on her watch, but that didn't work. I found at least one other person with this problem but the answer was not satisfactory. Help!
