“Hacked” message Pop-up on iPhone

I had a security breach warning for a password I had saved in the password key. I clicked on the link that said “Change password” assuming it would lead me to the company’s website. After I clicked, a message popped up that said my phone was hacked and to continue. I did not. I cancelled it out. What is this?

You haven't been hacked, it is a scam message designed to get you to purchase unnecessary software or phish for personal information.
