I need assistance with clearing up space on my MacBook by possibly using my iCloud storage
my computer storage is full due to not being able to utilize my iCloud as backup for photoshop and Lightroom,

Be careful here. iCloud is designed to be used for sharing between devices. It is technically not a backup/storage service. It mirrors your Mac. If you delete something from your Mac, after a time it will disappear from iCloud as well. The way to clear storage on your Mac's hard dive is to install an external disk, then copy files onto it, then delete them from your HD.
