Set equalizer on HomePod

Good morning everyone, I think it's frustrating for everyone that there isn't a dedicated equalizer within the home app for the second generation HomePod. I have suggested the addition of this feature several times via feedback, but even though over a year has passed, still nothing. I wonder if after a 700 euro stereo pair, it's normal that you can't equalize the HomePod as you want. Aside from reducing the bass, is there anything else to change the mids and highs? It's crazy that I have to use third party apps to adjust the sound!
