MacBook Air stuck on login page after typing password
When I try to login into my MacBook Air 2020 it lets me type my password but after it stays stuck on the login page.

Try booting into Safe Mode to see if that makes any difference. If you can boot into Safe Mode, then most likely you have some third party software installed with is causing a problem. Usual culprits are anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software....none of which are needed on a Mac and usually causes more problems than they solve because they interfere with the normal operation of macOS. If you have any of these types of apps, then uninstall them by following the developer's instructions.
If you still have issues even after uninstalling these types of apps, then run EtreCheck and post the report here so we can examine it for clues.
Also, disconnect all external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.
