how can I enlarge the point size of my email? It seems a simple question.
my email comes in at a tiny size. I need a large size

See if this works for you ... (ie: Am still using Ventura on my Mac, so Sonoma may look a little different)
With the Mail app open:
Click on "Mail"at top left of the Mail window
Click on "Settings" in the small drop-down menu that opens.
Click on "Fonts and Colours" at the top of the small window that opens.
Use the "Select" buttons to change the point size of either or all : message list / message font / fixed width font.
When you Press "Select": a small, separate, "Fonts" window where you can choose typeface / point size will open
