I don't like how Pictures organizes photos. Any suggestions on how to organize photos on MacBook Pro Sonoma not using Pictures?

By Pictures do you mean the Photos application? If do, what don't you like about Photos on Sonoma that you liked previously?
What do you not like about the app Photos as an organizing tool? Photos lets you put images in albums based on any criteria you like, and you can put images in several different albums with different criteria without taking up any more storage. You can have albums organized together in folders. The Photos app uses non-destructive editing so that you can change a picture, but you can always get the original image, as well. The app also lets you access other editors.
What do you want that is different?
Pictures is just a folder. Do you mean Photos, the media manager on the Mac? If so what do you not like about it and what would you prefer?
