Unable to create Apple Cash account because Apple Let Someone Use my SSN
I recently joined team iPhone after using an Android for 5
years. I immediately went to create my Apple Cash account, just to be greeted
with a restricted account saying, "You already have another verified Apple
Cash account". This has been an ongoing issue for over a month now, and
phone support has not helped AT ALL. Three times, I've been told my case number
did not exist over the course of 20 phone calls I've made to get this issue resolved.
I was told that someone entered the last 4 digits of their
SSN incorrectly using mine instead, and was able to create the account anyway.
I have provided my FULL social security number, home address, AND my new Texas
ID front & back that no one could have possibly used and STILL get
restricted.
No one has sent a follow-up email, no one has contacted me,
no one has elevated this special case, I've been told that my case numbers did
not exist, and now we're close to February making this issue ongoing for almost
TWO months.
This is incredibly frustrating and infuriating. Apple Cash
is 1 of 4 reasons why I decided to move from Android, and I am extremely disappointed
thus far. If someone could PLEASE help me resolve this issue, please notify me.
I have EVERYTHING to prove my identity.
