Hello, I recently bought a new iphone 15 plus and saw this written in my device info “This iPhone 15 Plus”. Why the word “this” before the model name? My previous iphone Xs Max didnt have this.
Moreover my serial number starts with K. Anyone knows what this means?

It says that because it’s identifying that the iPhone info you are looking at is “this iPhone”. Mines shows the same. The serial number can start with various letters so that shouldn’t be concerning. Did you buy it new from Apple or an authorized retailer? If you did there is no reason to be suspicious.
