updating Apple TV generation 2/3

I got a message on my Apple TV brick gen. 2/3 that it would no longer support Prime Video. Is there a workaround or update? Is it to old/vintage? It works fine when I stream video from my macbook pro.

Unable to update Apple TV A1625 past tvOS 16 I have an Apple TV, a1625, and it has stuck on TVOS 16. It does not get any further updates. Automatic and manual updates always say your TV is up-to-date. Is this because it is too old? Did Apple cease support? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

The 2nd generation can be updated to iOS 7 but no later.

The 3rd generation can be updated to iOS 8 but no later.
