Windows 11 on Parallels on M1 MacBook Air

so I just found out the hard way that bootcamp assistant doesn't work on M1 Macs, and I just bought the 15 inch Air. Before I return it, just wanted to find out if I used the parallels desktop route, would I be able to install windows 11 pro with no issues? thank you!

ms seem to think so Options for using Windows 11 with Mac® computers with Apple® M1®, M2™, and M3™ chips - Microsoft Support

and people post here who runs it apparently without too much problems

but suppose it depend on what one wish to do with windows, the windows 11 is the arm cpu based one so if you wish to run x86 apps then it use ms's wrapper their version of Rosetta 2 which at the end of the day is partially an emulation so performance may not be as quick as if it was under x86 windows. gaming will likely also not be ideal

as the emulator and doubt there would be much optimization for the 3d features of the m cpu
