How can you reinstall game without losing progress?

I allowed my granddaughter to use my iPad and she deleted my Differences app. She’s only 6 and I figured she didn’t know better. But she actually deleted my game to make space for a game she wanted to play. When I reinstalled it ALL MY PROGRESS was gone. It took me way back to level 1! My iPad is a 10.2 9th Gen. I’ve been playing this game for YEARS and I’m addicted to it. So if there’s any way that my progress can be restored PLEASE PLEASE help me.

If you still have an iPad backup in iCloud or a local Mac or PC from prior to the deletion, restore it.

Otherwise, I’d expect that data is gone.

I have routinely met members of the under ten set that have deleted apps, deleted subscriptions, permanently deleted precious photos, removed or changed contacts, deleted mail messages and conversations, and all manner of mayhem. Or that “oops” dropped the iPhone or iPad and damaged it.

This from helping parents or grandparents that loaned out their devices.

That a six year old already well knows how to operate an iPad would not surprise. Some can be quite Machiavellian.

You basically handed your unlocked device to a hacker.
