Passcode Forget & Removed iPhone from AppleID

My passcode was too simple, and somehow the kids in the house found out about it. When I changed the passcode, I ended up forgetting it. The next day, while trying to open my iPhone with Face ID, I had to restart it for some reason. However, after the restart, the iPhone passcode was required, and unfortunately, I had forgotten it. I accessed iCloud through my Apple ID to recover from this situation, but in the process, I accidentally removed my iPhone from my Apple ID. Now, I'm in a difficult situation and don't know how to retrieve my passcode. Unfortunately, I can't use the reset/erase iPhone option because I don't have a complete data backup. Is there any way Apple Support can assist me? I need a solution urgently as I have numerous meetings and business contacts to manage.

To solve the passcode issue, you will need to reset/erase the phone. There are no other options available.

Unfortunately, all of the data on the phone will be erased when you do this. There are no other options to reset the passcode. Apple will not be able to help you with saving the data on the phone.

Once you have erased the phone and set it up again, you can add it to the list of devices that are using your Apple ID.

You might want to think very seriously about setting up automatic backups for the phone. Resetting the phone for a forgotten passcode is an inconvenience, but you can restore the phone to the way it looked if you have a backup.

If you don't have a backup, you will lose the data on your phone again at some point. The only question is when.

Don't you think it is unfair for the user?

No, it's not Apple's fault that you did not remember or write down your new passcode or back up your phone. The "rules" are the same for all users.

A user who does not back up the important data on their phone will lose that data at some point. The only question is when.

You might also think about writing down the new passcode and keeping it in a safe place.....even if you are sure that you will never forget it.

Backup automatically every day and keep a written record of passcodes and passwords to avoid the next disaster.

Good luck.

You chose an insecure password. You let your kids have access to your phone with your important business records. You forgot the next password you chose. You removed the phone from our Apple ID. You didn't make regular backups of your important data. I don't see how this is anyone's responsibility but yours.

Accept that your data is lost. Set up the phone with a secure password and also don't leave it where other people can get access to it. Enable automatic iCloud backups.
