M1 Macbook Pro has breakup issues on airpods when multiple bluetooth devices are connected
2020 MacBook Pro 13in, M1 chip, 8GB RAM, macOS Sonoma 14.2.1(latest OS as of this posting), bluetooth chipset: BCM_4378, bluetooth firmware version v33295.
After purchasing a Logitech MX Keys Mini and a Logitech MX Master 2S I started to notice serious Bluetooth connectivity issues, specifically when using Airpod Pros(gen 1)(I am aware of the old recall on the gen 1 pros, they've already been replaced and long longer have those symptoms) alongside keyboard and mouse. The airpods will start making this awful crackling sound cutting in and out of audio(most of these examples happened when watching YouTube) but only for about 10 seconds then they'll be alright, <5 minutes later same thing all over again. keyboard and mouse function as usual when AirPods are connected and no audio is being played, only when the crackling and choppy audio starts the keyboard and mouse briefly have connectivity issues. but I've noticed recently if I turn the keyboard or mouse off while watching a YouTube video I won't experience any breakups. This leads me to believe either the laptop can't handle more than 2 active Bluetooth devices, or the Logitech devices are causing some kind of interference. I've tried everything I can think of(a lot), reset the Bluetooth module multiple times, disconnected and reconnected all devices, factory reset all Logitech devices, tried using different browsers(to play YouTube videos, chrome, and Safari), factory reset airpods, and even factory reset computer which helped for about 4 months. If anyone has any feedback ideas I am more than willing to try.
