That indicates either its the display or its backlighting is kaput. Simple to test, turn on a flashlight and point it at the display, if you can see what's supposed to on the display it's a backlighting issue. If you cannot see the display it's the screen itself which means it's time to replace the computer.


If it is the backlighting and the computer was made before 2017, it's best to replace it. If it's a 2017 or later, please take it to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be fixed.
