So I was not able to login to my Apple ID and forgot the password I sent out a request to get into it and Apple said that they will get back to me in 24 hours for security reasons when they contact me it be from the watch or through email or something?

You are in phase 1 of account recovery which is the evaluation period. Wait the 24 hours and when phase 1 is done it enters phase 2 where you can also go to https://iforgot.apple.com/ to see the final amount of days (can be weeks) you’ll wait and how you’ll be notified. On that final day you’ll get a notification, follow that text/email notification immediately.
